AXESS presents innovative FLAP GATES

Everybody knows them - in fact, it's hard to imagine ski lifts without turnstiles. However, turnstiles often present an obstacle to winter sports enthusiasts on their way to having fun in the snow.

In conjunction with the latest RFID technologies and smart cards, which are used as standard in AXESS systems, FLAP GATES are certainly trend-setters for modern access control systems in ski resorts. FLAP GATES are already standard in America and New Zealand, where they receive top marks from both skiers and snowboarders as they help increasing comfort at the lift entrances. But also in Europe more and more leading ski resorts opted for these new gates.

In 2011, the swiss resorts of St. Moritz/Engadin, Toggenburg and Beckenried-Emmeten, as well as Grand Massif, Morzine and Chamonix in France, Californian resort Mammoth Mountain, Mont Saint Sauveur in Canada and in Italy the brand new gondola ropeway “Ried” of Kronplatz have been equipped with FLAP GATES.
